The 22 year old lock on our toilet door recently broke.  No big problem you might think,  get it replaced or just learn to whistle, loudly.

Never having been a good whistler, I began an urgent hunt for a new lock, but my every enquiry met with, “No, sorry love, we haven’t got one of those kind of locks and we can’t tell you where to get one from.”

Things became grim.  Everyone in the house was jumpy and visitors stopped staying as long as they used to do.

Then inspiration!  I rang DISABILITY SOLUTIONS and their Equipment Information Service quickly told me to contact the NikaBond company in Burslem.  Within hours we had a brand new replacement lock and going to the toilet became a relief again.
